Classifieds

I can't seem to log in.

Remember there are two logins—one for the classifieds and one for the forums. You log in to each of those areas separately. Make sure you are using the correct username and password for each area.

I can't remember my password.

Use the lost password link on the "login" page in the Classifieds area. You will get an email with a new randomly generated password. Use it to log in to the classifieds, and then change your password to something you can remember easily by clicking on the "Change Password" link in the menu on the left side of your screen.

What kind of classified listings can I place?

You are welcome to place horse for sale ads, stallion ads, ads for horse equipment and accessories, and horse-related service ads.

"Wanted" ads are not allowed at this time.

How much do ads cost?

Classified listings—including photo ads—are FREE for all of the categories. There is no limit—you can list as many sale horses, stallions, tack and other items, or services as you would like.

How do I place an ad?

Go to the "Classified Listings" section and navigate to the category in which your ad should appear. If you are registered and logged in to the classified system, you will see a link in the menu on the left side of your screen for "submit listing." Hit the link, fill in the fields on the form, click on "submit," and your listing will be placed immediately!

What is a featured ad?

Horses for Sale and Stallions are eligible to be featured ads. The most recent listing with a photo in each category is featured on the front page of the Horse Club House web site and at various places throughout the Club House.

There is no charge to have your ad featured—your listing just has to be the most recent for its category!

I can't get my photo to upload.

Your photo may be too large. The size limit for photos is 800 pixels wide by 640 pixels high, with a maximum file size of 50K (50,000 bytes). If your photo exceeds these limits, use a image editing program such as PhotoShop or an online tool such as GifBot to resize and compress your image to within the size limits.

Discussion Forums

My login doesn't seem to work.

Remember there are two logins—one for the classifieds and one for the forums. You must log in to each of those areas separately.

Use the "forgot your password" link on the "login" page in the Discussion Forums. You will get an email with a new randomly generated password. Use it to log in, and then change your password to something you can remember easily by clicking on the "My Profile" link in the menu in the Forum area.

The Forums Should Have Another Board!

If you have a suggestion for another board on the Forums—for example, if your breed of horse should have it's own—email the boss mare.
